Clear terms for a careful product.

These are working-draft terms for Cairn Intelligence and Cairn Vault. They are not final legal terms and do not create a paid service agreement at this prototype stage. Final terms will be reviewed and published before accounts, uploads, or payments are enabled.

The service

Cairn Vault is intended to provide file storage and sharing. Features, limits, pricing, availability, and supported file types may change while the product is being developed.

Prototype boundary

The current demo and encryption lab are provided for evaluation only. Do not upload sensitive, confidential, regulated, or irreplaceable information. The encryption lab processes a test file locally in your browser and is not production storage.

Your responsibility

You will be responsible for using the service lawfully, keeping account credentials and recovery methods safe, and only uploading or sharing files you have the right to use. You must not use Cairn to distribute malware, abuse other people, or evade security controls.

Availability and data

During development, the service may be unavailable or reset without notice. Before launch, we will publish the retention, deletion, backup, export, account-closure, and incident-handling rules that apply to real customer data.

Security claims

We will describe security and encryption features only after they are implemented and tested. A demo feature or planned capability is not a guarantee about production security.
