Cairn Vault: in development
Cairn Vault is being built for keeping files, sharing them with simple controls, and revoking access when it needs to end.
Concept page only. Cairn Vault does not accept accounts, uploads, or real files today.

Sharing controls
Password protection, expiry, and revocation are planned for shared links.
First release
The first version is planned as a focused file-storage service. The exact security model, limits, and retention rules will be published before real customer files are accepted.
01
Upload and download your own files from a single, simple workspace.
02
Create a link, add a password when needed, and set an expiry.
03
See whether a shared link is active and revoke it when access needs to change.
04
Build recovery into the account from the start, rather than add it later.
Before launch
Vault will not ask people to trust it with their files until the storage, recovery, access, and deletion behaviour is ready to explain and test.
Shared access should be visible and removable without hunting through settings.
A shared link should be able to require a separate password when that is appropriate.
Expired and revoked links must stop the service from providing further access.
We will state what a control can do and where it cannot undo a file that has already been downloaded.
Cairn Vault waitlist
We will get in touch when there is a beta worth testing. There are no accounts, uploads, payments, or storage service today.
